Alloy 112 Welding Electrode
AWS ENiCrMo-3
UNS W86122
The chemical compositions of carbon, silicon, sulfur, aluminum, and nickel satisfy the strength and characteristics of Alloy 112 coated electrodes. The weld of Alloy 112 rods is soft enough to be milled, drilled, tapped, or machined, but it still provides significantly more strength than the base metal, and the color matches the cast iron. Coated electrodes are known for providing excellent surfacing and welding of gray cast iron, malleable cast iron, and malleable cast iron itself or for joining these cast iron types to mild steel
