ENi-1 (UNS W82141) / Alloy 141 Welding Electrode / AWS A5.11

SMAW

wire 001

Alloy 141 coated electrodes are used to weld cast and forged forms of industrial pure nickel. This type of electrode can be used to weld dissimilar materials between nickel, steel or stainless steel. Alloy 141 coated electrode has the characteristics of tolerance to maximum load. It also shows yield strength and elongation. ENi-1 coated electrodes provide excellent maneuverability for underhand groove and fillet welding, as well as smaller diameter electrodes for full-position welding. Electrode coatings should provide arc gas protection, easy arcing and arc stability, protection slag, good weld shape and, most importantly, gas protection consumes surrounding oxygen and protects molten weld metal

Product Detail

  • ENi-1 is a high nickel content flux-coated electrode designed for welding wrought and cast forms of commercially pure nickel to themselves or to steel
  • Commonly used for dissimilar welding applications involving nickel base alloys 200 or 201 to iron base and nickel base alloys
  • Excellent for overlaying on steel and for welding the clad side of nickel clad steel
High resistance to corrosion and high temperature
