ENiFe-Cl (UNS W82002) / ASME SFA A5.15 / Alloy 55 Welding Electrode / AWS A5.15

Alloy 55 welding electrode are used for welding cast iron to cast iron or cast iron to carbon steel or stainless steel. They contain approximately 55% nickel. These electrodes create welds that are harder than the welds created by high-nickel stick welding electrodes but less hard than the welds created by nickel-free stick welding electrodes. The deposits can only be machined with carbide-tipped tools.
