Alloy 190 Welding Electrode
AWS ENiCu-7
UNS W84190
ENiCu-7 electrode is used to weld nickel-copper alloy to itself and to steel, to weld the composite side of the joint in nickel-copper alloy composite steel, and to surfacing the steel with nickel-copper alloy weld metal.
Electrodes smaller than 1/8 inch(3.2 mm) can be used for welding in all positions. Electrodes larger than this size are only used in flat and horizontal positions. Weld metal is suitable for use in a welded state and after proper post-weld heat treatment. Qualification tests should be carried out beforehand to ensure that the necessary properties can be obtained after the application of a particular heat treatment.
