Product Description
Inconel X-750 alloy strength is somewhat less than that for Inconel 718 alloy up to about 1400°F (760°C),The alloy was developed from Alloy 600 by adding aluminium and titanium to make the alloy precipitation hardenable. Alloy X-750 also demonstrates good formability and excellent hightemperature oxidation resistance. Alloy X-750 offers outstanding performance in highly stressed environments, which is why it’s often used in gas turbines, nuclear reactors and aircraft structures.Alloy X-750 can be cold-formed in the annealed condition, and may also be hot-formed at temperatures of about 1900°F (1040°C) or above. Weldability is somewhat limited by susceptibility to strain age-cracking under conditions of heavy restraint. The alloy exhibits good resistance to oxidizing combustion gas environments at temperatures up to about 1600°F (870°C).

Inconel X-750 Process performance and requirements:
Inconel X-750 alloy has good process properties, but the following factors need to be taken into account in the processing and forming process:
Heat treatment:
The Inconel X-750 requires heat treatment for optimal mechanical properties and corrosion resistance. The heat treatment conditions can be adjusted according to the desired properties.
Work hardening:
The Inconel X-750 can be cold worked to achieve higher strength, but attention needs to be paid to the embrittleness of the material to avoid overcold working.
Cutting:
When cutting Inconel X-750, it is necessary to use a tool with sufficient hardness and toughness, and maintain proper cooling lubrication.
Welding:
The welding performance of Inconel X-750 is good, but it is necessary to select appropriate welding materials and processes to avoid weld cracking and other problems.
Finish:
The surface of the Inconel X-750 usually requires pickling and removal of oxide peel to ensure excellent corrosion resistance.
When processing and forming Inconel X-750, the high strength and high temperature properties of the material need to be taken into account to avoid excessive stress and deformation. In addition, Inconel X-750 should also be used to avoid excessive exposure to high temperature and corrosive media, in order to maintain its excellent performance and life.
